Specialista Senior / Project ManagerJob description: In this role, you are a team member as a designer and will work together with your team coach, engineers, and other designers to develop machines tailored to customer needs. You will also discuss designs with purchasing, production, and service departments. You will report to the Teamleader Engineered Solutions.Below is an overview of tasks and responsibilities:Concept design in 3D-CAD of chiller, cooler layouts, and components, including piping, castings, machine parts, sheet metal, etc. (using Inventor)Detailed design in 2DInitial strength analysis on designs, if experienced in FEAFollow-up of the design through different phasesDelegate repetitive and standard design tasks to an internal design studio (Gecia)Set up instructions and technical specifications, applying standards and legislation (ISO, CE, PED, ASME, etc.)Follow-up of the design during production when neededSupport other departments (service, production, purchasing) with technical informationCreate and maintain technical documentation (drawings, bill of materials, purchase specifications, technical agreements)Final release of drawings, BOMs, documentation, and instructions for production in the PLM system (ENOVIA and BPCS)Collaborate with colleagues from production and service to resolve technical issues after gaining product knowledgeExperience requirements:Experience in a design and development environment is a plusExperience with chiller technology is a plusPrevious experience as a designer is a plusStrong interest in concept designFluent in Italian and proficient in EnglishGood general technical knowledgeKnowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software like AutoCAD and InventorInterest in mechanical design and calculations/simulationsEducational requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent through experiencePersonality traits:Pragmatic and goal-orientedGood communicatorWilling to learn and adapt to new systems and processesAbility to prioritize and work independentlyTeam playerMotivatedAttention to accuracyInnovative and creativeWe are seeking candidates residing near our office in Castello D'Agogna - PV or those willing to relocate.
