About the JobYou will work inside the Electrical Section, which is responsible for designing electrical systems of medium, large and complex projects. The Electrical Engineer Junior role involves developing assigned tasks under the guidance of Senior team members; work is periodically reviewed by the Lead Electrical Engineer or Team Leader, to verify objective achievement. You will progressively receive tasks with increasing complexity and interfaces.The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Preparation of project technical specifications in line with Project/Client requirementsMeet Project quality and HSE objectivesEnsure appropriate reporting on assigned engineering/requisitioning activities to the Lead Electrical Engineer/Team LeaderInterface with other discipline engineersPreparation and/or check of Single Line Diagrams, Area Classification drawings, Grounding System layouts, Panel/Cable schedules, Equipment layouts, Cable layouts, Lighting system layouts and Electrical installation detailsPerform power system studies (short circuit, load flow, motor starting, arc flash, harmonic analysis) using ETAP or equivalent softwarePerform calculations for main electrical equipment sizing, UPS sizing, cables sizing, lighting system, grounding and lightning system, and heat tracing systemPrepare Electrical Equipment Material Requisitions and Data sheetsReview Vendor Bids and prepare Technical Bids EvaluationEnsure proper communication with Vendors and technical follow up of the ordersReview Vendor DrawingsYou will have the opportunity to travel for technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshops, move to other operating centers and join colleagues overseas. About YouWe’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:Qualifications: Master degree in Electrical EngineeringMAIN SKILLS :Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the design team in the resolution of project related issues, in an international and multi-cultural environmentHigh interest with respect to the current Energy transition challenges and Digital transformation processAvailability to international mobility for either short or long term assignmentPrevious experience of at 1-2 years in detailed engineering and design of electrical systems for Refinery / Gas / Power / Renewables / Infrastructure projects in similar position is a plusSolid knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies will be highly appreciatedAdvanced knowledge of Excel/VBA/Query and Database management is a plusSelf-motivated, results oriented and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast paced multi-disciplinary team environment
