Danieli Automation, with over 40 years of experience in the global steel industry, is a leading technological partner in production management, process control, and electrical solutions. Currently, we are expanding our team within the Electrical Hardware Engineer area.
Location: Buttrio (UD)
Responsibilities
Read and interpret single-line diagrams, block diagrams, and functional schemes of electrical panels to select necessary information for electrical plant design;
Size and select power cables based on plant requirements;
Select signal cables appropriately according to plant needs;
Define and draft (in CAD 2D) layouts of electrical cabinets in industrial plants, aligning with received data, contractual needs, and client requests;
Define and draft (in CAD 2D) layouts of electrical cable routes in industrial plants, according to data, contractual needs, and client requests;
Define and draft technical specifications for purchasing various types of plant materials (cables, cable trays, etc.);
Define and draft technical specifications for external purchase systems (communication systems, surveillance systems);
Manage external design studies to support office activities.
Requirements
Technical diploma in Electrotechnics or Electronics / ITS in Mechatronics or Automation;
At least 5 years of experience in electrical plant design for industrial or civil projects;
Good knowledge of Office Suite (Word / Excel);
Excellent knowledge of CAD 2D;
Knowledge of 3D plant design CAD;
English language proficiency at least B1 CEFR.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
Organizational and collaborative skills;
Result-oriented attitude;
Proactive with decision-making spirit;
Willingness to undertake short trips (up to 2 weeks) worldwide for at least 2 months/years.
