OverviewThe EHS Specialist will act as a member of the EHS Team in Sesto San Giovani Site and be the EHS focal point for the assigned area and / or process. The mission will be to develop, plan and execute the Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies.ResponsibilitiesSupport the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectationsImplement / modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure complianceMaintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulationsModify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systemsEnsure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to health and safetyManage environmental regulatory topics, with particular reference to air and wasteProvide and determine alternatives for issue resolutionQualificationsDegree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Environmental, Industrial Engineering or related health and safety disciplines from an accredited universityPrevious work experience in EHSKnowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.lgs. 81 / 2008; D.lgs. 152 / 2006) andKnowledge of EHS international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)Strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasksFluent Italian and good English knowledgeWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsData Analysis skillsKnowledge of GE EHS programs and systems (Including Gensuite)Ability to prioritize workload commitments and multitask.Strong team playerProject leadership skillsInterpersonal skillsAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided
