Your responsibilities will involve conducting risk assessments, training employees and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsPerform regular EHS inspections/genba and audit to evaluate and identify hazards to ensure EHS complianceProvide EHS training and education to employees, ensuring they understand and comply with safety standards and proceduresInvestigate incidents, accidents, events and near-misses and develop strategies to prevent recurrenceCollaborate with management and employees to promote a proactive EHS culture and continuous improvementMaintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents and compliance effortsMonitor and analyze EHS performance metrics and report findings to managementStay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and improvementParticipate in emergency response planning and drillsSupport sustainability initiatives and environmental stewardship effortsQualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or Master\'s Degree in Engineering or related fieldProven experience in an EHS roleKnowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.Lgs. 81/2008 and D.Lgs. 152/2006) and of EHS international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)RSPP/ASPP training and certificationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAPStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasksFluent Italian and good English knowledgeWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsAbility to document, plan, market and execute programsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes hybrid work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
