Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.We’re hiring a E2E System Engineer, within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, he/she has to support the E2E System Engineering activities.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing and mission analysisEngineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activity;Developing of mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance;Mission Analysis for Satellites Optical Systems;Calibration activities for already operative SAR Systems;Knowledge of System physical and functional architecture of satellite systems;End-to-End Verification approach definition and execution;Writing technical documents, project reports.QualificationsThe ideal candidate has to be educated to Engineering master degree, preferentially with a Ph.D. In addition, a distinctly propensity to team working is required, jointly with strong analytical and technical skills, problem solving capability, solid knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data.
