We’re hiring a E2E System Engineer, within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, he/she has to support the E2E System Engineering activities.
Responsibilities

Develop scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing and mission analysis.
Perform engineering requirements analysis and flow‑down activity.
Develop mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance.
Conduct mission analysis for satellites optical systems.
Carry out calibration activities for already operative SAR systems.
Understand system physical and functional architecture of satellite systems.
Define and execute end‑to‑end verification approach.
Write technical documents and project reports.

Requirements

Engineering master's degree, preferably Ph.D., in relevant field.
Strong analytical, technical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data.
Team‑working attitude and ability to collaborate across cultures.

Language: fluent English, spoken and written.
Location: Rome.
