Prior to visiting any of our depots, please contact us if you have any food product intolerances.The RoleTo assist and support the Distribution Manager with the day to day running of the Distribution department.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Distribution Manager in ensuring the fleet is compliant with all legal requirements.Ensuring all new vehicles are onboarded correctly (including but not limited to, Insurance, O Licence, internal programs).Cover driver where appropriate.Engage with routing procedures on a daily basis (Some weekend work may be required).Ensure all Distribution responsibilities are well maintained and fit for business (IE, vehicles/sack trucks/vehicle wash).Take full responsibility for the department in the absence of the Distribution manager.Liaise with Customer service to maintain an excellent customer experience.Person specificationKnowledge, skills and experienceExcellent organisational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent PC and systems literacyQdropSafety cultureO licence websiteContinuum (licence checking) websiteFlexible and committed team playerAbility to work under pressure and to strict deadlinesConfident attitude and approachKnowledge of transport regulations (IE driver hours, tachographs, road safety)Good understanding of fleet operations and scheduling.Full valid driving licence (Category C preferred)BenefitsClick here to view all employee benefits.Apply NowTo apply please attach your CV below.
