Kinekta are currently working with a utility-scale solar and BESS developer who are hiring a Director of Development to join their team focusing on the development of projects across the US. This position will be responsible for building out their project pipeline in these markets.
Responsibilities

Lead the development of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects in PJM and MISO.
Lead the development of projects from greenfield through to NTP.
Oversee permitting, environmental compliance, due diligence and interconnection processes.
Ability to determine the viability of projects throughout the projects.

Requirements

Experience taking utility-scale renewable projects (solar or BESS) from greenfield through to NTP.
5+ years of experience developing utility-scale renewables in the US.
Ideally experience developing projects in PJM and/or MISO markets.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
