Digital Specialist (m/f/d) at Bayer

The Consumer Health division of Bayer S.p.A. is looking for a talented Digital Specialist who will work in teams across brands, media & digital and agency partners to boost executional excellence for the Italian market. Within the Media Management department, the role will support the Media Lead and the Digital Manager at operational level in optimizing and monitoring digital media plans (upper & lower funnel), ensuring effectiveness and efficacy, and will contribute to the digital creative & content aspects of integrated marketing campaigns (IMC) ensuring all key elements are included for agencies to deliver best-in-class solutions. This position will serve as a local interface at the Enterprise level, collaborating with internal and external partners on strategic and executional matters, with a strong focus on digital plans and thorough analysis of all KPIs.
Responsibilities
Support the Digital Manager on all digital initiatives (Programmatic, Social, Content Creation, SEA) managing campaign setup and planning, budget and bid optimization.
Collaborate in managing upper and lower funnel media agencies operations ensuring the optimization of the most important KPIs.
Assist media and marketing in defining data‑driven creative & content activation approach, based on brand growth and addressable audiences, on‑site performance and conversion goals.
Manage the SEO agency for Bayer CH brands’ websites, working closely with the IT department to enhance site performance.
Support Marketing and Media in dealing with global procurement to ensure creative agency deliver on the SoW.
Collaborate with Marketing and Business Insight and other local functions on measurement (i.e. MMM) and brand tracking (i.e PLT).
Manage media tech stack (i.e. Google, Amazon, IAS) and support on media fees and invoicing.
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing or Communication or a similar field.
At least 3 years of previous experience in Digital Media.
Knowledge of ad‑tech platforms such as ad servers (e.g., CM), demand‑side platforms (e.g., DV360, Amazon DSP), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), tag management tools, ad verification tools (e.g., IAS).
Knowledge of AI tools and technologies for content generation and optimization.
A solid understanding of all major creative and content formats across various channel types.
Experience in social media and influencer/content creation strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), with the ability to persuade and influence others through personal credibility and assertiveness.
Experience in end‑to‑end process management.
Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Ambitious, results‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
Residence or domicile in Lombardy.
