Through collaboration and excellence in execution, our 17,000+ employees across 34 countries are fully committed to bridging prosperity with sustainability for a world designed to last.About the opportunity we offerYou will work inside the Digital Plants Section, that is in charge mainly of the:detailed design, test and commissioning of simple, complex and advanced regulatory process control strategiesdetailed design, test and commissioning of complex logics and sequencesmanagement of the supply and commissioning of Advanced Process Control (Multivariable) and Optimization systemsmanagement of the supply and commissioning of Operator Training Simulator (OTS) systemsmanagement of the supply and commissioning of Digital Application software (e.g. 3D OTS/Augmented Reality, Digital Twin, IIoT, MES)You will be involved in different phases of each Project: FEED (Front End Engineering Design), EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and Revamping Projects. The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Study of process operation and process control requirements and definition of suitable simple, complex and advanced regulatory control strategies to be implemented at DCSDefinition of basic and complex logics/sequences (logic diagrams and flowcharts) to be implemented at DCS/ESDDefinition of advanced process control strategies based on process operation and optimization targetsProvide technical assistance during DCS/ESD configuration and testing phases (FAT) of simple, complex and advanced regulatory control strategies as well as logics/sequences at Vendors workshops and during Site Commissioning phaseTimely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions for Operator Training and Advanced Process Control systems in coordination with other disciplinesTimely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions for Digital application systems in coordination with other disciplinesTechnical evaluation of bids to ensure that contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliersEnsure proper communication with Vendors and Clients and technical follow up of the ordersEnsure proper communication with Process Department and other engineering disciplines (e.g. Instrumentation and Control, Machinery, Heaters and Boilers, Electrical) for management of interfacesSupervise and coordinate the activities of a small group of engineers (internal and/or external)Review Vendors documentsAdhere to the committed man-hours and budgetEnsure timely reporting on engineering and requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer (if any) and to the Section HeadMeet Quality and HSE objectives of the projectInterface with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planningProvide guidance and mentoring to more junior engineering employeesYou will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshops, move to other Technip Energies operating centers and join our colleagues overseas. Occasionally you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to the Instrumentation and Automation discipline directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.Starting Date: September 2025About youTo be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:Previous experience of at least 3-6 years in detailed engineering and design for Refinery / Gas / Power / Renewables / Infrastructure projects in similar positionChemical or Automation Engineering DegreeKnowledge of process units operation, with at least 2-3 years of experience in process design or similarKnowledge of general Instrumentation and Automation (DCS/ESD) principlesKnowledge of safety interlocks, various machineries and equipment controls and logicsFluent in EnglishComputer literateCapability to perform its work on time with the required quality levelCommunication skills and team spiritAvailability to international mobility for either short or long term assignmentNice to have:Knowledge/experience in Advanced Process ControlKnowledge/experience in Operator Training SimulatorKnowledge/experience in MES (Manufacturing Execution System) applications and Digital TwinKnowledge/experience in Process modelling and SimulationKnowledge/experience of DCS basic configuration criteria and Vendors proprietary configuration blocksKnowledge/experience in Automation Systems architecture general principle and Hardware designKnowledge/experience in Site Operations and/or Automation Systems revamping/upgradesYour career with usWorking at Technip Energies is an inspiring journey, filled with groundbreaking projects and dynamic collaborations.
