Your Job
The Digital & Communications Specialist, Italy will support the local activation of our PR & media relations, influencer & community programs, and social media platforms. You will monitor and start conversations to build relationships with members of the Brooks community through social engagement. You will assist the Marketing Manager - Italy, EMEA PR & Influencer Manager, and Digital Media Manager in driving the community activation of our integrated marketing plan, to meet Brooks business and marketing objectives. You will collaborate with the EMEA and Italian marketing teams to establish connections with other Community leads in the EMEA markets and build strong relationships with Italian Sales, Tech Rep, and Customer Service teams.
Your Responsibilities
Digital Marketing and Social Media
Support the adaptation and implementation of digital marketing and social media activities, in accordance with the Global and EMEA marketing strategy.
Participate in regular exchange and coordination of ideas within the Italy and EMEA Marketing Team.
Collaborate with stakeholders on the creative assets for digital communications and social media to drive brand visibility and engagement.
Help the E-comm team with planning and development of localized webpages.
Update and monitor Social Media calendar ensuring campaign posts are delivered on time and on budget, localized where appropriate to maximize performance and ensuring content represents a continuous, relevant presence of the Brooks brand.
Coordinate social media assets, production and adaptation of content, development of posts for both brand, product and event content; create positive, brand appropriate and engaging social copy and reply to users on all social platforms.
Ensure the on-time posting on social media channels based on the product, events and activation calendar.
Monitor conversations across social media, discover trending topics relevant to the product and brand, and address important mentions and questions through one-on-one communications.
Report data using Ads Manager, Google Analytics and Social Listening Tools to support analysis and recommendations for future planning and to optimize community management.
PR and Influencers
Support the PR & Influencer Manager, EMEA on activation of the social media, PR and Influencer strategy in Italy act as the initial contact point in market for the EMEA PR & Influencer Manager.
Coordinate the adaptation of EMEA PR plans into local market PR, Influencer and Community plans and adapt to create local market assets
Track seeding for the Influencer and Community programs ensuring product is ordered and distributed in a timely manner aligned to key campaign stories and local brand moments.
Connect with media partners, our Influencers and Run Communities as an extension of the Brooks family; identify and connect with influencers to increase reach and engagement.
Track performance against KPI framework, providing regular reports to Marketing Manager and EMEA marketing Team.
Act as a point of contact for our local PR agency providing monthly reports and regular status meetings.
Support the activation of PR launch events to link the Brooks brand with a broad set of media publications and influencers, both print and online.
Coordinate the local paid media plans incl. print, digital, and other channels like podcasts, etc.
Support team brand events to connect Brooks with runners offline and as part of the online social community.
Coordinate translations and write PR and Influencer content for the Italy market.
Prepare local seasonal communication plan in accordance of EMEA communication strategy and under a guidance of the Italy Marketing Manager.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
1+ years of relevant marketing experience client and/ or agency side (brand, footwear, retail & lifestyle experience, online & digital experience)
Knowledge of PR, Influence and Brand Communications.
Familiarity with Digital Communications and social media (Instagram, Facebook, Strava, Tik Tok, etc.).
Experience with marketing & communications mix at country and/ or international level (ideally in an international environment).
Experience on events’ organization (2 to 3 events per year).
Drive license and able to drive across the country
Able to generate content during events.
Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions.
Drive & energetic, trend-conscious, sport savvy.
Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and cross-functional framework.
Excellent organizational and management skills: ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution. Readiness to step in, to get the job done when needed (hands on mentality).
Strong passion for running enthusiast and practicing an active lifestyle.
