You will work in a highly innovative environment, coordinating diagnostic strategy and requirements across hardware, software, and systems engineering teams. Your role will bridge the gap between vehicle teams, core electrical groups, and suppliers to ensure robust diagnostic and flashing functionalities across ECU and SoC platforms.Job detailsStart date: January 12, 2026Work model: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite)Contract type: Permanent (employee) or Freelance (B2B)ResponsibilitiesDefine diagnostic strategies for basic functionalities, hardwired flashing, and OTA updates.Review and apply Stellantis diagnostic, flashing, and OTA standards and requirements.Coordinate cross-functional working groups to define HW, functional, and system diagnostic requirements (DTC matrix, recoveries, plausibilities).Collaborate with vehicle teams to assess the impact of diagnostic and OTA needs on vehicle EE architecture.Define ECU hardware requirements aligned with diagnostic and flashing needs.Coordinate with core electrical teams to generate CDD/DDT deliverables.Define and document DoIP Ethernet message requirements.Support product development teams in defining manufacturing and service diagnostic routines.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 3 years of experience developing automotive diagnostic specifications.Proven experience in system/component-level requirements authoring.Proficient in English (B2 level or higher).Advanced knowledge of UDS standards and DoIP protocols.Hands-on experience with both hardwired and OTA flashing.Solid understanding of CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work autonomously and lead within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Preferred skillsExperience with IBM DOORS or other requirements management tools.Proficiency in CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANdela.Familiarity with PREEvision and AUTOSAR software architecture.Next stepsPress “Apply”We will review your applicationIf qualified, you will be accepted into the network and can be considered for this and similar positions & projectsLocationTurin, Piedmont, Italy
