OverviewTata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer in Milano for one of our top clients, a main actor in the Finance market.This role is responsible for maintenance of company end-user equipment and provide technical support for various application and network issues.As a Desktop Support Engineer, the employee will also work with senior IT engineers on complex technical issues and assist with IT projects (on Workplace changes) as necessary.ResponsibilitiesSupport a diverse group of energetic users with varying levels of technical expertise and requirements;Provide both desk-side and remote support to end-users;Maintain Thin Client, Laptops, Mobile phones and focusing on functionality, end user experience, and efficient problem resolution;Install & troubleshoot end user equipment including : Computer hardware, Microsoft & third-party Software and Insurance applications (if need be), Mobile devices, Desk phones and printers;Manage and maintain conference room equipment;Creating / updating required technical documents for maintaining knowledge repository;Perform tasks related to onboarding and termination including configuring Laptops, Thin Clients, mobile phones, registering SIM card,
