OverviewOur client is a fast-growing solar construction specialist with more than 50 employees in Europe. They have delivered projects up to 100MW in size and are expanding into the Italian market with multiple projects planned between 10MW and 20MW.The roleYou’ll focus on the design and early-stage costing of solar projects. The position is office-based in Milan, with some time spent in France for training. This is not a contracts or execution role – your focus will be on design and preparing accurate costings for projects.ResponsibilitiesDesign solar sites using PVcase, Pvsyst and AutoCADContact subcontractors to request procurement offersBuild and maintain price lists with marginsPrepare technical briefs to support project developmentSupport accurate project cost planning (training provided where needed)What we’re looking forEngineering background, ideally with 4–5 years’ experiencePrevious on-site experience, now looking to move into an office roleUnderstanding of construction activities and costs, with good contractor contactsProficient in PVcase, Pvsyst and AutoCADFluent in Italian and English; French is a plusDetail-oriented with strong technical design skillsWhy joinThis is a chance to be part of a growing international team and play a key role in shaping solar projects across Italy.
