Each member of our aerospace team makes a difference.Vergiate hosts the Avionics (AWS) domain, which handles :Front desk reparations for civil and military operatorsSupport on ground and in flightTechnical support for aircraft developers, operators, and maintenance centersJob ObjectiveThe Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager for Thales Italia S.p.A. - Avionics Domain and Avionics Global Services in Vergiate will collaborate with the Vergiate Quality Manager. The role involves maintaining aeronautical certifications for the Vergiate site, such as EASA Part-145, FAA Part 145, TCCA CAR 573, CAA UK Part 145, and ensuring proper application of processes and standards.Additionally, the role provides operational support to the Maintenance Manager concerning industrialization activities and data management.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor the continuous application of site processesConduct internal audits and support audits by relevant authorities for certification surveillance, renewal, and acquisitionMaintain the Safety Management System (SMS) documentationEnsure quality assurance for support activitiesManage non-conformities (customer claims, incoming materials) and implement corrective actionsSupport technical activities, including updates and communication of maintenance documentation and management of tools and resources in the repair stationSkills, Experience, and QualificationsEngineering degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, or related disciplinesSuccessful experience in aeronautical activities, particularly EASA Part 145 or Part 21Knowledge of quality and safety management systems in aeronauticsLanguages : Fluent Italian and English; French is a plusTeamwork and adaptabilitySkills in electronics and mechanics are advantageousProficiency in Office SuiteSoft skills : rigorous, autonomous, communicative, reactive, proactive, curious, synthesizing, flexibleThis position is open to candidates from protected categories as per Italian Law 68 / 99.At Thales, we offer careers, not just jobs.
