Join the team as a Database Administrator at Cerved, an Italian tech company that supports sustainable growth, risk management and digital transformation through unique predictive signals and an exclusive data and analytics portfolio.
Location
Sede di lavoro: Milano, Torino, Roma, Mangone (CS).
Responsibilities
Design, implement and manage relational and non‑relational database architectures.
Guarantee the availability, integrity and security of corporate data.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes and data access processes.
Plan and execute backup, restore and disaster recovery activities.
Manage updates, patching, migrations and cost estimation in cloud environments (AWS, OCI and Atlas).
Apply DevOps concepts (continuous integration and delivery) to the data domain.
Collaborate with development, IT and Cyber Security teams to release new application solutions.
Define and enforce data access policies in compliance with sector regulations (GDPR, PSD2).
Document configurations, operating procedures and technical standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience as Database Administrator, preferably in FinTech, Banking or Digital environments.
knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
Competence in data security, encryption and privilege management.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, OCI, Atlas) and managed database services.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and prioritization skills in complex contexts.
Team‑player attitude and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.
Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
Good command of English, written and spoken.
