As a Database Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our client in Rome (city), contributing your expertise in database management and security within a fast-growing organization.
Your missions

Administer, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL and / or Oracle SQL databases for client projects
Collaborate with client teams onsite in Rome (2 days per week) to deliver tailored solutions
Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and regular database audits
Support migration, backup, and recovery processes for critical systems
Document database architectures, procedures, and security protocols
Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in database security
Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment

Your profile

Approximately 5 years of experience as a DBA, with a strong track record in database management
Experience in security sector
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and / or Oracle SQL, including advanced administration and security features
Hybrid opportunity, available 2 days per week on site in Rome (city)
Experience with database security, compliance, and risk management
Ability to work collaboratively with client teams onsite
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
