For our Data Team, we are seeking a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering to contribute to the development of robust data systems and pipelines. This role emphasizes delivering high-performance, maintainable, and scalable solutions while actively engaging in code reviews, design discussions, and best practices.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and optimize data pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following modern software engineering principles.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Participate in code reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Take part in on‑call rotations to ensure system stability.

Job Requirements

Proficiency in programming languages like Scala/Java/Kotlin/Python, or similar.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, such as test‑driven development, system design, and clean code practices.
Experience with data streaming application, with Flink or Spark structured streaming and Kafka.
Familiarity with data batch frameworks like Apache Spark orchestrated with Airflow.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
