We are looking for fully cleared Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. These technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshooter for a range of data center infrastructure issues, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems.
If you like to use IT principles such as computer architecture and the OSI model to find solutions, we’d like to meet you. Your work will help maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.
* This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Responsibilities
Engage in physical data center activities, including planning and tracking capacity, rack deployment, rack cabling, hardware and software troubleshooting, and rack decommissioning.
Lifting and moving material up to 49 pounds each.
Working in cramped, elevated, and noisy locations.
Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
Standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (covering night, day, weekend, and holidays).

Take ownership of technical issues brought by customers, engaging other teams when needed.
Show a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
Resolve problems at their root and understand the broader context.
Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting.
Act in the absence of direction or support.
Improve effectiveness through process innovation.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, or A+, CND (Certified Network Defender), Network+, or Security+.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following hardware platforms (e.g., Dell, HP).
Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications.
Previous experience in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment).
Associate's degree in IT‑related field plus two years of progressively responsible experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay ranges from $62,500/year in our lowest market to $139,700/year in our highest market. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided.
