We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.We’re looking for a Logistics Operations Specialist to be the operational backbone of our Data Center logistics team. You’ll own the daily flow of materials, equipment and inventory, troubleshoot issues on the ground, and ensure our operations run like clockwork. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing capacity at a low cost for our customers. You’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key responsibilitiesOversee and support the end-to-end flow of materials, parts, and equipment within our logistics network.Manage daily inbound and outbound activities, monitor inventory accuracy, and coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and procurement teams to ensure service level commitments are met.Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics operations across multiple sites, coordinating scheduling and supporting shipments between locations.Manage cross-site shipment planning, tracking and issue resolution.Supervise on-site activities such as receiving, unpacking, and verifying contents.Ensure that all workspaces across sites are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and safety.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks, conducting root cause analysis, recommending process changes, and supporting rollout of new workflows.Use operational and analytical skills to drive measurable efficiency gains, reduce waste, and enhance performance across the logistics function.This position involves occasional trips across the cluster to support other sites and lifting materials up to 18 kg (with teammate assistance).A day in the lifeProvide items to customers safely, accurately and in a timely manner.Work in a diverse, international and friendly environment.9:00–18:00 on business days; onsite in an office/storage area with occasional need to work outside for shipment support.Mostly a quiet environment, with occasional 75 dB noise level (industrial-grade fan equivalent).Work with electronic parts.On-call duties required after normal working hours, rotating weekly by team members.About the teamDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences.
