Note that sponsorship is not available for this position.SUMMARYResponsible for start-up, maintenance, and emergency repairs of Vertiv Air Conditioning products, as well as other contracted systems. Establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, salespeople, distributors, and others within the area. Maintain continuous communication with Call Control and the department manager/supervisor.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESRespond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.Perform all work safely, in accordance with company safety policies.Follow current codes of practice and legislation relevant to the tasks.Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established procedures.Help maintain a minimum 90% planned maintenance completion rate.Assist call control in scheduling, planning, and completing work using established workflows.Keep call control informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.Report errors in the customer listing using the site change form.Support company vision and management decisions.Follow all ISO 9001:2000 processes as per the standards.Keep company vehicle clean and well-maintained.Look after all tooling and property issued for tasks.Work as part of the service team.Follow up and complete all assigned tasks thoroughly.Submit daily paperwork accurately and timely; for Wireless Field Service, debrief at the customer's premises where possible.Be available to work during weekends and nights.Report sales or service leads to the appropriate department.Provide positive influence and support to peers.Provide on-site technical assistance for difficult problems.Assist department supervisors, salespeople, contracts engineers, and managers with daily operations.Attend customer meetings as required.Ensure compliance with export/import regulations, EU arrivals and dispatching, and supply chain security policies.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEExperience in a technical service or testing environment of air conditioning equipment.Proficient in office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook.Previous field service experience.Self-motivated with good planning, organization, and time management skills; able to work under pressure.Valid and clean driving license.WORKING CONDITIONSSignificant after-hours and weekend work, often scheduled with short notice.Daily travel to customer sites.Possible overnight stays or long-distance travel.Occasional heavy lifting.Participation in a 24/7 on-call rota.May require international travel from time to time.Uniform provided, to be worn at all times during work.
