The Crew Coordinator will be responsible for executing the mobilization process of seafarers of specific nationalities, primarily Italian, South American, and North African. The role includes coordinating training centers and medical providers as needed, and contacting seafarers during the mobilization process.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely processing of visas and other formalities related to crew joining.Verify that all pre-joining documents are complete, genuine, and meet applicable requirements.Prepare approved personnel for joining, including certification, courses, tests, and medical examinations.Maintain contact with personnel during leave and mobilization.Handle all training enrollments.Keep accurate, up-to-date records in ShipSure Crewing and upload documents as required.Process flag state document applications and maintain control procedures.Provide administrative support to other Crew Cell members.Perform other duties as assigned by the Crew Supply Manager to ensure smooth office operations.Comply with Group Quality System rules and maintain records of all mobilized seafarers.Skills, Qualifications, and ExperienceVocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field.Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels.Strong attention to detail.Excellent communication skills in English and Italian (both oral and written).Awareness of cultural diversity issues.Good organizational and planning skills.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Availability to work after hours in emergencies to assist seafarers, ships, or port agents during crew changes.Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the Subsea/Marine/Offshore Construction Industry.Note:This job posting appears to be active.
