For more information on Hill, please visit our website at www.hillintl.com.The Cost Engineer will be responsible for managing and controlling all aspects of project costs, including budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and cost reporting for projects.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project budgets, cost estimates, and cost plansMonitor project costs and provide accurate and timely cost reports to project stakeholdersReview and analyze project cost variances and recommend corrective actionsConduct cost risk assessments and develop contingency plansCoordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely cost forecastingProvide support to project managers in developing cost control strategiesParticipate in project meetings and provide cost-related updates and recommendationsCollaborate with procurement and contracts teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and contracting strategiesReview and evaluate change orders and claims for cost impactsDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholdersEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cost control and reportingQualificationsBachelor Degree from an accredited university.Work experience of eight (8) years in the sought discipline after earning degree.Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reportsJob DetailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Construction
