The company operates primarily in the United States through Halmar International, one of the leading construction firms in the New York metropolitan area.Open Position: Cost ControllerFor one of our infrastructure projects in the province of Pescara, we are seeking a Cost Controller responsible for managing the planning and control of industrial costs related to the construction works, with a focus on the detection of direct and indirect costs associated with the project. The role also involves analyzing variances between budgets and actual costs and proposing corrective actions to improve results.Specifically, the Cost Controller will:Coordinate the semi-annual budgeting process, ensuring timely updates of incidences and unit costs, alignment of the budget with the work schedule and subcontracting scheme, and preparing related reports.Verify monthly actuals and analyze deviations from the budget.Highlight variances between current estimates, offer estimates, and subsequent revisions.Collaborate with the Management Control team to provide data necessary for budgeting, cash flow, financial planning, and investments.Provide the Management Control team with data and reports needed to evaluate the project's economic performance.Inform the project team about upcoming resource planning (materials, labor, subcontractors).Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Cost Controller in the infrastructure/construction sector;Diploma as a Surveyor or Degree in Engineering;Knowledge of SAP and STR Vision is a plus.Additional qualities:Ability to manage emergencies;Willingness to relocate/travel.This advertisement is open to all genders, ages, and nationalities, in accordance with laws 903/77 and 125/91, and legislative decrees 215/03 and 216/03.
