Your Role At Vantive
The Consultant Supply chain Planning Functional Lead IT role will partner with the Business Relationship Manager and Supply chain Planning leadership teams. The role supports the cloning of Supply chain TSA applications and coordinates timing and implementation of all cloned applications with the Technical Lead and third‑party system integrator. This partnership enables the Supply chain planning function to achieve its goals, leverage technical investments, foster innovation, and maintain Vantive’s leadership position in the market.
What You'll Be Doing
Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for core Supply chain Planning applications and processes.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog, prioritise projects and features based on impact and alignment with long‑term goals.
Integrate input from multiple channels—including customer research, industry best practices, and stakeholder requirements—into product priorities and requirements.
Maintain documentation, development standards, and best practices, ensuring platform security and regulatory compliance.
Ensure overall design aligns with Vantive's global model, existing business rules, and proper integration with other applications and processes; challenge business requirements when necessary.
Serve as product engineer for agile or SDLC‑based project teams.
Collaborate with in‑house application teams and third‑party service providers to build knowledge and resolve incidents.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Keep up with emerging technologies and develop new technical skills as needed.
Develop standard operating procedures to standardise tasks for consistency in operations.
Communicate status, solutions, and concerns—disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions, deliver presentations, facilitate, and address issues at all levels of management.
Mentor, coach, and lead less experienced technical team members; facilitate the development of professional and technical skills for self and peers.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Information Systems, with ERP supply chain planning systems and software development methodologies, preferably in supply chain IT.
3+ years of experience implementing SaaS applications, preferably KINAXIS Rapid Response.
Strong understanding of supply chain planning operations and how technology can be leveraged, with hands‑on experience in forecasting, distribution requirement planning, MRP, production, and inventory planning.
Experience with ITSM processes; ServiceNow or Jira experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of integrating supply chain applications with other systems.
Stakeholder management and expectation management skills.
Ability to work with cross‑functional matrixed teams to deliver on common goals.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with team members, peers, leaders, and customers.
Collaborative work style with business, data science, and technical stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of lean product principles and the software development lifecycle.
Foundational project management skills to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workloads.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
