OverviewConstruction Mechanical Superintendent - Rotating/StaticWe are Tecnimont SpA, an EPC contractor of Maire Tecnimont Group. This position requires travel abroad.Duties and responsibilitiesManages installation of all Mechanical, Piping, Insulation, Electrical and Instrumentation equipment.Ensures that the performance of the mechanical subcontractor(s) is carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost and coordinates the necessary recovery actions whenever deviation from schedule or specifications is detected.Monitors actual works to ensure adherence to engineering design, quality and project schedule.Supervises surveying, inspection and testing of structures.Controls and approves the Method Statements submitted by the Subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on the field.Coordinates all necessary recovery actions whenever deviation from schedule or specifications is detected under the guidance of Construction Manager.Checks that the equipment and manpower employed by the Subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed conform to design documents, safety regulations, and the quality level fixed by the project.Prepares the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor and coordinates nonconformity resolution.Detects design errors and, where possible, rectifies them or requests the Site Engineer to make the necessary changes.Ensures the implementation of all HSE procedures and standards.Directly participates in HSE activities at Site as defined for this position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.Knowledge & QualificationsUniversity Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.ExperienceRelevant experience in the construction/ modernization of industrial sector/EPC projects of large scale.Experience in static equipment erection.Experience in site assembly of Tanks and API650.HVAC installation experience is mandatory.Cooling Tower Erection experience is mandatory.Experience in static/rotating equipment.At least 3 years of experience in the specific discipline.Experience working on the Contractor side.Similar role covered in last three projects of comparable size.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent IT and analytical skills.Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills.Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustriesIndustrial Machinery Manufacturing
