Reporting to the Head of Department Green Power and Assets Business Unit, the Construction Engineer is involved in the preparation of Work Requisitions (both in proposal and execution phases), scouting potential construction Subcontractors, schedule preparation, and optimization of construction sequences.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare Work Requisitions (WR) for construction works, site offices, and site camps.Evaluate received offers.Prepare construction schedules for both proposal and execution phases.Identify potential subcontractors in the country by exploring the market.Conduct constructability analyses and follow up accordingly.Identify construction sequences that can reduce schedule duration and costs.Propose alternative solutions for cable laying or overhead electrical lines considering underground or above-ground obstacles.Support site needs and activities.Participate in weekly construction meetings with clients and subcontractors.Assist the Field Engineering Manager in defining solutions for site criticalities.Support the Project Control Manager in preparing progress data.Assist the Subcontract Manager in defining new prices or evaluating work for subcontractors.Support the Contract Manager in preparing change orders and claims.Prepare the Site Mechanical Book.Assist the Operation and Maintenance department to ensure a smooth handover.ExperienceRelevant experience in Green Power Plants (Solar/Wind, H2, NH3 projects) and construction head office activities.Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Construction Specialist in EPC projects.This role is primarily based at the head office; however, in case of critical site issues, availability for up to 1 month on-site missions may be required.Please note: If you are not a passport holder of the country where the vacancy is located, a work permit may be necessary.
