Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.Partner with the bestThe Condition Based Maintenance Engineer is the technical expert for the parts life and maintenance plan rules for the Gas Turbine flange to flange, Auxiliary Systems, Turbo and Motor compressor. This specific position covers Aeroderivative Gas Turbines such as LM2500, PGT25, LMS100, LM6000 and LM9000.He/She will use field data collection, condition based and predictive maintenance techniques, residual life estimate and related endeavors to develop the maintenance rules to sustain the Contractual Service agreements and all the related functions such as Operation, Risk and Financial.As Condition Based Maintenance Engineer you will:Assess the risk for units operated with extended maintenance intervals beyond reference maintenance intervals.Support New Program Development by transferring Service requirements, reporting field experience, and developing life models to support the program.Support the development and continuous update of parts life rules included in the ATAs policies.Support and lead technology productivity projects.Perform field inspections to verify parts status, quantify defects with respect to expected life performance, and fine-tune life models.Build Gas Turbine components history through repair and field maintenance event analyses.Coordinate monitoring and analysis for Fleet Leader Components.Collaborate with GE Aerospace technical teams to manage inputs and share analysis results.Develop empirical/statistical models to predict forced outage exposure, parts fallout rates, and replacement life limits.Support development of Hybrid Physics part life models and their integration into the CBM-Online infrastructure.Interact with BH Digital Teams to support predictive technology products/analytics and services for maintenance optimization.Prepare Condition Based Maintenance program design reviews with Chief Engineers and manage action items.Support Product Service Requests and Root Cause Analyses.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role, you will have:A Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering degree or related engineering experience.Knowledge and experience in developing statistical methods.Gas Turbine or other Oil & Gas equipment design experience.Knowledge of Gas Turbine and Turbo Compressors design and plant maintenance operation.Gas Turbines design and operability experience.Reliability methodology and techniques for empirical modeling development.Strong technical, project management, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of programming languages to interact with Digital Teams on product development.Repair technology and procedures knowledge relating to Gas Turbines.Demonstrated ability to resolve and close complex issues.Understanding of gas turbine operation business.A motivated self-starter, promoting teamwork in a cross-functional environment, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
