For one of our clients, a dynamic oil trading company based in Milan, we are seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in compliance within the physical commodity trading sector, with strong exposure to oil trading operations.Your MissionDevelop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and proceduresEnsure alignment with applicable regulatory frameworks and internal governance standardsMonitor and manage all regulatory compliance matters, including AML, sanctions, and KYC obligationsIdentify and assess areas of compliance risk or vulnerability, and proactively recommend improvementsLiaise closely with key internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodiesPrepare and present regular compliance reports to senior managementYour Profile3 to 5 years of experience as a Compliance Officer in a physical commodity trading environment, ideally with direct exposure to oil tradingSolid understanding of compliance regulations and international standards (AML, KYC, sanctions)A degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or Business AdministrationFluent in English and French (written and spoken); Italian is a strong plusStrong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approachHigh ethical standards and ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teamsThis is an exciting opportunity to grow within a highly entrepreneurial environment and play a key role in strengthening the compliance culture of a fast-moving trading company.Ready for your next challenge?
