As a Commissioning package manager, you will be part of our quality & commissioning team and with your technical knowledge & project management expertise you will ensure projects are planned and managed in a coordinated manner through all levels of commissioning. You will have prior experience managing high performing teams to achieve excellent predictable results for our customers.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesServe as the project subject matter expert (SME) for Electrical systems testing and commissioningDefine the quality and commissioning scope and provide clear direction to all stakeholders to execute the tasks to completionMeasure and manage the execution of testing for your package from Commissioning Level 1 through to Commissioning Level 5, adhering to stringent technical requirementsSupport and manage safety requirements during Commissioning such as Permit to Work (PTW), Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) systems.Interpret all design documentation and specifications to ensure the facility is tested and operates within the parameters outlined by the customer and design teamWrite and approve testing documentation such as scripts, RFIs, technical submittalsPlan and schedule testing with all stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to adapt while meeting deadlinesManage the Factory Witness Testing (FWT) strategy and carry over work risk managementProvide a comprehensive commissioning and completion strategy for each asset (L0-L6) from planning to handoverShow your expertiseBachelor’s degree or extensive trade background in engineering (5+ years’ post qualification experience)Ideally 5+ years of experience in “hands-on” commissioning and commissioning management with thorough knowledge of commissioning technically advanced electrical systems and interfacesThorough understanding of Electrical Engineering principlesPower supply systems / subsystems – (HV / MV / LV experience)Ability to read & interpret all technical documents such as technical submittals, drawings (P&IDs, SLDs, etc.)Knowledge of commissioning Substation infrastructureLighting & Small Power Testing requirementsEquipment & System electrical switching management experience, LOTO and PTW knowledge.QA / QC knowledge with in-progress inspection system understandingVery good English languages skillsExyte is an employer committed to equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment.
