Mission
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead to support the Mozambique LNG Project, based in San Donato Milanese (Milan). The selected candidate will lead and coordinate commissioning, start-up, and handover activities for LNG facilities, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, HSE, and quality.
Tasks

Lead and coordinate all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test run, training, and operation activities
Review contractual and project documentation related to commissioning and operation
Ensure commissioning and operation requirements are properly integrated into engineering documents
Prepare and maintain commissioning, start-up, and operation execution plans, including mobilization planning
Supervise preparation and execution of commissioning procedures, manuals, and test packs
Coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, and operations teams to ensure smooth handover to the Client
Review test run performance procedures and operating manuals
Support definition of subcontractor scope of work related to commissioning and operations
Monitor progress, interfaces, and KPIs during home office commissioning activities
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and support preparation and verification of HSE plans
Review spare parts, consumables, and commissioning deliverables
Ensure activities comply with applicable international codes and standards (IMO, SOLAS, IPS, MARPOL, classification society requirements, etc.)

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with prior commissioning leadership experience.
Solid understanding of commissioning processes in large industrial facilities.
Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, IEC, ISO) and commissioning best practices.
Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Location: Milan Office – San Donato Milanese, Italy
Working Schedule: 8 hours / day, 5 days / week
Contract Duration: 12 months
