About the Position
The Commis de Cuisine is familiar with the various kitchen sections and demonstrates a strong sense of teamwork. They operate in full alignment with Hyatt Centric Murano Venice’s company philosophy, brand standards, and standard operating procedures, helping to foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Chef de Partie in preparing the mise en place and ensuring a clean, organized workstation at all times.
Maintaining professional, respectful, and ethical interactions with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
Demonstrating a proactive team spirit and actively contributing to a culture of cooperation and mutual support.
Ensuring full compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations, including fridge temperature checks, proper food labeling, station sanitation, and appropriate use of cleaning and hygiene products.
Monitoring the proper use, care, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and tools provided.
Actively participating in training sessions and consistently applying the knowledge and techniques acquired.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must already hold a valid work permit for employment in Italy.
Minimum of 1 year of previous experience, preferably within hotel or resort kitchens.
Strong sense of professionalism and reliability.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule.
High attention to detail.
Excellent command of the Italian language.
