OverviewWild Country is a heritage climbing brand within the Oberalp Group. We are building a fast-growing Climbing Gym Business Unit, bringing our brands and services to the heart of the indoor climbing scene. To support our expansion, we are looking for a Commercial Manager who will lead the commercial development of Wild Country and our Climbing Gym Business.ResponsibilitiesDrive omni-channel growth for Wild Country through new and existing distributionAlign marketing, product, and sales execution with commercial goalsAttend trade shows, key account meetings, and regional activations to gather market insights and build brand presenceIdentify and execute partnerships with key climbing gyms across priority marketsCreate commercial opportunities with gyms to increase brand visibility and revenueBe the internal ambassador for the climbing gym business within the Oberalp organizationImplement brand distribution strategies across all channels to exceed market share targetsAnalyze sell-in and sell-out data and competitor insights to refine growth strategiesCollaborate with internal teams to create and deliver effective selling strategiesAct as the point of contact for trade marketing teams and ensure consistent use of marketing assets across all communicationsUse market expertise and climbing knowledge to identify trends and consumer preferencesConduct qualitative and quantitative research to support commercial and product strategy decisionsProfile / QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Product Development, or related field; Master’s degree is a plusProven experience in a commercial role in the outdoor or climbing gym industryStrong understanding of climbing culture and well-connected in the gym and outdoor marketExcellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skillsStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCreative mindset and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentHigh availability to travel frequentlyWhat we offerJoin our passionate team and become part of a culture where climbing is more than business—it’s a way of life.
