As a founder-driven initiative, we are committed to fostering global competitiveness, creating jobs, and strengthening the southern entrepreneurial ecosystem.Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team as a co-founder and lead the financial and tax strategy pillar of our program—tasks that go beyond the capabilities of our business English trainers. This role is critical to ensuring the financial sustainability and international scalability of participating startups, aligning with our mission to optimize tax structures and secure funding. As a key member of our founding team, you will work closely with startups and international experts to navigate complex fiscal landscapes.Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic tax planning and consultancy for startups, leveraging national incentives (e.g., R&D tax credits up to 50%) and international deductions (e.g., foreign expansion costs).- Advise on optimal legal structures (e.g., limited liability companies) to minimize tax burdens and support international expansion.- Implement the Profit First model to enhance financial sustainability, including setting up separate bank accounts for profits, taxes, and expenses.- Offer expertise on offshore operations, analyzing jurisdictions (e.g., Malta, UAE) and ensuring compliance with international tax regulations.- Support startups in preparing financial documentation for due diligence and investor negotiations with Keiretsu Forum.- Conduct ongoing consultancy (12 months) and deliver personalized reports on tax opportunities and deadlines.Qualifications:- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification, with a strong background in international taxation.- Proven experience in tax planning for startups or SMEs, preferably with a focus on innovative sectors (e.g., technology, green economy).- Knowledge of Italian and EU tax incentives, as well as offshore tax strategies.- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, TaxLab).- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote, dynamic team.- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.What We Offer:- Opportunity to shape the financial future of Southern Italy’s startup ecosystem.- Collaborative environment with a passionate founding team and global partners.- Competitive compensation based on experience, with potential for equity or performance bonuses.- Flexible working hours and remote setup, with occasional travel abroad to engage with startups.We look forward to building a financially robust future with you!Note: Scale Abroad Acc. is an equal opportunity employer.
