Role Purpose
Responsible for operating and managing the IoT Cloud Infrastructure platforms and the vendor hardware where it runs, ensuring support, continuous improvement, and alignment with Vodafone requirements and needs.

What You’ll Do
Maintain the IoT Cloud critical environment for Vodafone.
Perform troubleshooting, fault handling, and implement temporary work‑arounds and permanent corrective actions. Engage with third‑party support to resolve issues within expected time frames.
Apply daily routine monitoring and health checks, implement automated incident detection, and optimize system monitoring.
Participate in new project activities by providing input and solution delivery acceptance, implementing or verifying process improvements, and verifying configuration changes.
Interact with customer technical staff, NOC engineers, operation managers, and other groups within the Service Delivery organization.
Who You Are
General knowledge of Telco Cloud, CaaS/PaaS/IaaS technologies.
Appreciated knowledge of VMware and RedHat Linux.
Knowledge of compute, storage, SANs, network and their maintenance.
Knowledge of containerized functions and K8s cluster management.
Knowledge of automation solutions and scripting/programming languages (Ansible, Git, Python, Grafana).
Preferred experience working in an enterprise environment for problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analysis processes.
Good team player and problem solver.
Strong attitude for learning new technologies and methodologies.
Ability to perform in stressful and emergency conditions.
Fluency in English.
Preferred (not mandatory) technical certifications.
