Overview
Recruitment for the Cloud Operations Specialist (CP) at BIP is open. This role is part of the Application Maintenance and Operations Cloud team, focused on maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructures.
Responsibilities

Continuous monitoring of cloud resources (CPU, memory, storage) and application performance (APM) using platform‑specific tools.
Incident detection, alert configuration, and rapid response with automated escalation paths.
Proactive anomaly detection utilizing AI‑driven solutions.
Logging and auditing with Azure Log Analytics, Google Cloud Logging, and ELK Stack; manage log retention and compliance.
Backup and recovery operations, including Azure Backup, Google Cloud Backup, disaster‑recovery plans, and restoration tests.
Operational management of Kubernetes clusters: health monitoring, scaling, patching, RBAC, security updates, and pod deployment.
Provisioning and maintenance of core cloud services such as VMs, databases, storage, networking components (VPN, firewall, load balancer, DNS, VPC).
Participation in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, providing shift coverage and support worldwide.

Qualifications

Minimum 30 years of life, motivated and detail‑oriented professional.
Experience with at least one public cloud platform (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon AWS).
Hands‑on skills in Kubernetes operations and deployment of containerized workloads.
Proficiency in monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring), APM, and alerting frameworks.
Knowledge of log analytics, backup solutions, and security practices for Kubernetes.
Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
Technical certification is a plus.
