Many Public Trust jobs are remote, and some clearance-required jobs allow remote work.Travel: Dependent on the future job opportunity.Job Description: As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud solutions aligned with business goals, leveraging your AWS expertise, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.If you are self-motivated, passionate about cloud technologies, and eager to innovate and modernize operational support, we encourage you to apply now!Job Duties:Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.Work with development teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.Create automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates to streamline cloud resource management.Monitor and optimize AWS resource performance, focusing on cost efficiency and resource utilization.Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, VPC, and data encryption.Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure performance.Stay updated on AWS services, features, and best practices, and recommend their adoption.Collaborate on cloud governance policies, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.Assist in designing hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent.Experience:At least 4 years of AWS cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management experience.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Deep understanding of cloud security, including IAM, VPC, and Security Groups.Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, or Prometheus.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.Experience in Agile environments is highly desirable.Professional Attributes & Values:Integrity and accountability, demonstrating honesty and high ethical standards.Respect and diversity, fostering an inclusive environment.Effective communication, conveying information professionally and timely.Strong interpersonal skills to promote positive relationships and collaboration.Commitment to continuous improvement through self-assessment and professional development.SoundWay is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE): We value diversity and do not discriminate based on race, religion, age, gender, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.
