OverviewClinical Specialist (Biosurgery & Infection Prevention) at BD Nogales Norte. The Clinical Specialist role involves providing comprehensive clinical and technical support to the sales team and customers across Italy for BIP solutions, including training, operating room activities, and product demonstrations. The position requires a healthcare professional with clinical experience who will develop reference centers, facilitate workshops, support clinical trials, and contribute to business growth through education and relationship building with healthcare professionals, with extensive travel throughout Italy.Main responsibilitiesProvide training, technical and clinical support to the sales team and customers; develop a deep understanding of BIP solutions and their indications to support and develop the Italian business.Establish and reinforce a company culture defined by commitment to customers, quality, performance, results, collaboration and accountability.Offer clinical support, product in-servicing, case coverage, troubleshooting, and fulfill administrative duties in a timely manner within a defined geographic area (Italy).Promote growth of the BIP product line through specialized clinical sessions, training programs and evidence-generation programs.Facilitate Infection Prevention and Biosurgery workshops in the territory of coverage; provide clinical on-site support and conduct peer review.Extensive field support of the sales organization, including operating room activities, across all phases of the selling cycle of BIP solutions.Pre-evaluation training and demonstration of products; intra-evaluation technical and clinical support; post-purchase training to drive acceptance and utilization direction.Development of established centers; collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for business growth.Develop and launch formal value-added clinician training; support reference centers and HCP networks; facilitate peer-to-peer communications to support the sales force, including local symposia, hospital meetings, and round-table meetings.Provide technical support for key national clinical trial centers and support in-country training initiatives including per diem nurses and physicians; coordinate with EU marketing team and local Product Manager for ongoing training updates.Support the launch of upcoming new product opportunities in the Infection Prevention and Biosurgery segment.Qualifications & profileBachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, or related healthcare field (Master's degree preferred)Clinical certification or licensure relevant to the Italian healthcare systemMinimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in operating room or surgical settingsDemonstrated experience in providing clinical training and education to healthcare professionalsExperience with clinical trial support or evidence generation programsTrack record of developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare facilitiesTechnical knowledgeComprehensive knowledge of operating room procedures and hospital workflowsFamiliarity with the Italian healthcare system, regulations, and clinical practice guidelinesUnderstanding of medical device evaluation processes in hospital settingsFluent in Italian and English (both written and verbal)Willingness to travel extensively throughout Italy (up to 70% travel may be required)Click on apply if this sounds like you!About the companyBD is one of the largest global medical technology companies.
