The company has a significant laboratory systems portfolio with products at all stages of their development lifecycle.This role is a part of Dedalus’ Medical Office, led by the Chief Medical Officer and will also work as part of the company’s global clinical safety team.Your TasksEnsuring that solutions meet critical criteria in the reduction of clinical risks and are compliant with Dedalus’ global clinical safety assurance system and regulatory requirementsDevelop and maintain high quality laboratory solutions, working with the Research and Development elements of the Product Business Unit to provide clinical support the design, development, testing and post market elements of software development lifecycleDiscuss with customers to understand their requirements and to enable them to contribute to the development of clinical content, workflows, and templatesProviding expert input into the company’s current and developing laboratory systemsIdentifying safety risks, issues and opportunities for improvement during the early stages of product developmentSeeking to improve the overall product quality and end user experienceDeveloping safety documentation in line with Dedalus global clinical safety policyReviewing testing scenarios to ensure that the solution is rigorously tested from a clinical perspective (safety and effectiveness)Reviewing the outcome of testing, to ensure that where necessary functional issues are dealt with in the most efficient manner.Making escalations, where necessary, program or project risks and issues through the appropriate channelsProviding clinical input to problem resolution in live systemsYour ProfileRegisterable qualification with a professional body or relevant up to date practice within healthcareAt least 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory as a DoctorExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsInclined and used to Team workingAble to bring innovation and creativity to solutionsGood analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to use data to improve product qualityDetailed understanding of clinical end to end processesBroad understanding of the healthcare delivery and the ability to explain the function and structure of the service delivery to non-clinical peopleProvide guidance and support for non-clinical people to be able to understand the clinical hazards and impact assessmentsGood personal computer skills : MS Office is essential; Atlassian Jira / Confluence are welcomeGood knowledge of ItalianThe knowledge of French and / or German will be considered as a plusAdditional informationPossibility to work with a high percentage of smart-working, alternating with business trips
