Humangest S.p.A., a national employment agency, is seeking a chimico/a for an environmental company specializing in industrial waste treatment, located in Augusta (SR). The role involves managing liquid hazardous waste treatment processes.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, controlling, and optimizing chemical-physical processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Responsibilities and Requirements

Perform chemical-physical analyses of incoming and outgoing waste
Determine appropriate treatments based on waste type
Monitor and optimize chemical-physical processes (neutralization, flocculation, separation, decantation)
Collaborate with the laboratory for quality control and process compliance
Prepare technical reports, treatment sheets, and regulatory documentation
Provide technical support to operational staff and liaise with control authorities (ARPA, ASL, etc.)
Contribute to chemical and environmental safety management of the plant

Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields (new graduates welcome; certification preferred) or a technical diploma (e.g., chemical technician) with laboratory experience
Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and environmental safety (preferred)
Proficiency with laboratory instruments (pH meters, spectrophotometers, etc.)
Precision, independence, teamwork skills
Willingness to work in shifts and industrial environments
Basic knowledge of technical English
