The Cavallino supports initiatives aimed at preserving the area and its related traditions, habits, customs and culture.The Facilities:The Cavallino Bianco Family Spa Grand Hotel in Ortisei (BZ) has been a coveted and appreciated refuge of well-being and family intimacy for over 20 years, immersed in the enchantment of the Dolomites.The entrepreneurial success and the feedback from the loyal community of guests of the Cavallino Dolomiti motivated the owners and the top management to identify, design and build a new Cavallino structure in Italy, in a location that could combine exclusivity, nature, culture and landscape.A second new Cavallino Bianco – Venice will be inaugurated in Spring 2026, in an exclusive location directly on the sea near Caorle (VE). 5 stars, 101 suites, directly on its own beach (250 m frontage for 5 hectares in total) under exclusive concession will welcome over 400 national and international guests, in a refined environment characterized by all-inclusive formulas, and exclusive services and experiences. Over 150 employees and overall structures for over 30,000 m2 on 5 levels (indoor surfaces), will produce a turnover of over 20m in 10 months/year of opening.Among the distinctive features of the Cavallino Bianco model are childcare (Lino Land) and the wellness area. Description of the role:For the new structure of the Cavallino Bianco in Caorle (VE), the owners and management of the Cavallino are looking for the future Director of Operations (General Manager).The Director of Operations is responsible for all operational management of the company, i.e. the satisfaction of guests and employees, as well as the achievement of objectives of occupancy, level of service, revenue, costs and profits.Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee all daily operations of the hotel, ensuring impeccable service and an unforgettable experience for guests.• Support/collaborate in the development and implementation of strategies to maximize hotel occupancy and increase revenue, while maintaining standards of luxury, service and guest satisfaction.• Supervise hotel employees, including function/department managers, and ensure each team member is adequately trained and motivated to deliver high quality service.• Supervise the quality of the process and service, coordinate and collaborate with the various departments to guarantee the observance of quality and compliance standards, hospitality, entertainment, service, hygiene, maintenance and safety of the hotel (responsible for HSE, HCCP, privacy …)• Manage relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure the consistent supply of high-quality goods and services.• Monitor and manage the hotel's operational and financial budgets in collaboration with the group's Finance & Treasury managers, working to ensure excellent profitability and efficient use of resources. • Respond promptly to guest’s requests and concerns, resolving any issues quickly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.• Represent Cavallino at events and other public occasions, helping to promote the company's image and reputation at a local level.• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to increase performance, minimize waste and inefficiencies, and achieve a best-in-class business model.• Implement control tools and constantly seek improvements.• Manage and develop the management team, evaluating their performance and promoting coaching to increase team performance• Living and promoting the values / culture of the CavallinoReporting lines:•To him/her report (both disciplinarily and functionally) the managers of the various functional areas (Kitchen, Restaurant, Front-Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Lino, Beauty, Back-Office (reservations office), and Communication/Marketing) • To him/her report functionally the managers of the Centralized Finance / Treasury, Centralized HR, Compliance...• He/She reports to the president and CEO of the Cavallino Group (Ralph Riffeser)The ideal candidate:• Personal profile: between 28 and 35 years old (must have already gained some experience)• Educational/skills profile: Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality or a related field, alternatively degree in psychology + ideally an MBA. Must know how to manage people but with preparation / clarity suited to the Business; emotional intelligence, ability to do things and work in a team• Professional experience: at least as deputy manager in a similar hotel structure and/or as assistant to the entrepreneur for 3 years; avoid hotel chains because they are excessively conditioning; must love children and be resilient towards "more demanding guests" (be part of it without getting involved)• Language skills: level C1 for the three languages Italian, German and English (both written and spoken)• Approach and character aspects:: - The Candidate must see this role not as an intermediate stop but as a long-term opportunity (with a minimum commitment of 5-8 years)- The Candidate must be able to find understanding / chemistry with CEO Ralph Riffeser sharing his entrepreneurial spirit, philosophy, vision (a "diamond in the rough" to be polished and that will let itself be polished but who has active learning capabilities)- The Candidate must be an "alpha" with humility / with learning capabilities
