We are looking for new graduates to participate in our apprenticeship program. This program provides an opportunity to apply your knowledge in practice and develop skills through a working experience. It is open to recent graduates from different disciplines and covers a wide range of roles. An Application Engineer position is available in Italy, Toscana, for our Downstream Division.
What you’ll do

Support your assigned tutor by providing technical support at the customer site; identify and resolve customer pain points, escalating as required.
Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and delivering written recommendations to optimize customer operations.
Support services including: sample testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, and general labor activities.
Actively support Nalco Champion innovations and technology in strategic district accounts by providing service support to other District Sales Representatives.
Travel within the assigned sales territory.
Coordinate and technically troubleshoot projects as required.

What you’ll need

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
Fluent in English and Italian (mother tongue).
Valid Driver’s License.
Organizational and communication skills with a customer focus.
