We are looking for a:
Channel Manager – SME Energy Sales
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results‑driven professional who will be responsible for leading and developing the direct and indirect sales network in the gas and electricity sector for the SME market. The candidate will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with sales agencies, supporting channel growth, and contributing to the design and optimization of sales processes, negotiation systems and contract standardization. Reporting to the relevant internal stakeholders, the candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing an efficient and competitive channel strategy within the SME energy segment.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage strong, long‑term relationships with sales agencies and partners.
Drive channel performance by identifying growth opportunities and supporting partners in achieving sales targets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement efficient sales processes and procedures.
Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of negotiation tools and systems used by the sales network.
Support the standardization and optimization of contractual documentation and customer onboarding processes.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure the channel strategy remains competitive and aligned with business goals.
Provide training, guidance, and operational support to agency partners to ensure compliance and performance excellence.
Report regularly on channel performance, KPI, and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in channel management or sales development in the Italian energy sector.
Strong understanding of the SME market and indirect sales dynamics.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage external partners.
Analytical mindset with a process‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools supporting sales and negotiation processes.
Fluency in English is a plus.
