Job Summary
We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, small group activities and crafts, hygiene needs, dispensing medication, leading community outings and volunteer opportunities and helping people Live Life to the Fullest.
Responsibilities
Transporting individuals to our centers and to community outingsLead small group and skill building activitiesDocumenting on goals and individual progressProvide companionshipAssist with mobility, hygiene and meal prepAssisting with medicationLight cleaning activities
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferredFirst aid and CPR-certifiedKnowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skillsAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and enthusiasmAbility to lift up to fifty pounds
Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
