Your role will focus on adhering to safety regulations, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring high equipment availability through continuous improvement.Shift Pattern:This role involves working in non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends.Responsibilities:Model and monitor health & safety practices among team members.Demonstrate SME knowledge of all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).Coach and mentor technicians on shift.Ensure high equipment availability through troubleshooting and prioritization.Support continuous improvement initiatives across the EU network.Maintain good relationships across all organizational levels.Understand and utilize OEE and equipment performance metrics.Manage contractors and escalate issues as needed.Perform engineering tasks across levels 1-3, with Level 4 requiring specialist intervention.Manage critical spare parts inventory using EAM systems.Coordinate and execute planned preventative maintenance.Possess relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and multi-disciplinary skills in electrical and mechanical disciplines.Have solid knowledge of PLC control systems and experience with CMMS.Comply with statutory requirements and communicate effectively in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.Proven supervisory skills and experience managing multiple projects and contractors.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
