We provide services worldwide while acting locally, with approximately 400 employees across 6 countries.For major clients in the Automotive sector, we are seeking a CAD Wiring Harness Specialist with experience in the automotive industry.CAD DESIGN FOR WIRING HARNESS DEVELOPMENTThe main tasks and responsibilities in wiring harness development typically include:Proficiency in using CAD systems for wiring design, utilizing specific tools.Studying layout and packaging for electrical wiring.Designing fastening systems for wiring installation (clips, channels, cable guides, gaskets, etc.).Developing routing and installation of cables on vehicles and engines using CAD CATIA with the Wiring application.Creating 3D models and 2D layouts; knowledge of applications useful for 2D electrical diagram drawing is desirable.Analyzing geometric and installation issues of components such as cables, and studying suitable solutions while considering the assembly process during vehicle manufacturing.Experience in design and processes related to wiring development.Gathering platform information (Program Planning, Trim level grid, Cost and weight targets).Collaborating closely with the Engineering Specialist Project Chief to schedule activities.Determining optimal solutions considering cost and quality in line with product manufacturing requirements.TECHNICAL SKILLS :Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and related integration issues.Proficiency in Excel.CAD skills in Wiring Harness activities within 2D/3D environments (CATIA, PRO_E, Capital Harness, etc.).SOFT SKILLS :Ability to work in a team and organize complex tasks.Attention to technical details.Ability to work in multicultural teams.Strong problem-solving skills.Fluent in Italian and English.Basic German is appreciated but not mandatory.EDUCATION :Technical or professional diploma in electrical, electrotechnical, IT, or mechanical fields.
