This is where you can do your best work.Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives—where your purpose accelerates our mission.Ready for a new challenge?We are looking for a Buyer Specialist on a fixed contract, responsible for respecting the project schedule, managing procurement activities, and overseeing all supply chain management tasks.Responsibilities:Implement the QMS in your area of responsibility.Shared responsibility for respecting the project budget, product cost, and tooling cost.Define the supply chain for new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products.Manage the costs of new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products, including tooling costs.Ensure adherence to the project schedule (delivery of components) during all project phases.Prepare Project Purchasing documentation.Select suppliers in a global, multi-functional environment aligned with the Global Strategy.Qualify new suppliers via the Hill-Rom certification process.Engage early with supplier projects (ESI) to incorporate technical expertise during product development.Establish and implement energy performance criteria in procurement negotiations.Qualifications:Strong team player with a focus on quality improvement.Highly organized and efficient in managing complex projects.Problem-solving skills with the ability to find alternative solutions.Effective communicator in multicultural and technical environments.Influential in project decision-making, positively impacting product development and results.Integrity in professional situations.Analytical skills and financial understanding.Knowledge of the new product development cycle and market conditions.Negotiation experience with an understanding of cost models.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Part of the Supplier Quality Lifecycle Management.Equal Employment OpportunityBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
