About The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Prato, Toscana. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑founded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants. As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
What You'll Be Doing
Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organized manner.
Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
Communicate with restaurants via physical visits, email, calls, or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.
Requirements
Comfortable targeting new business and with sales experience.
Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers, face‑to‑face, phone or email.
Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
Comfortable with negotiations.
Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
Tenacious.
Chinese knowledge highly appreciated.
