This role is focused on identifying and nurturing new business relationships within Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical companies, particularly across EU regions. The position is fully remote and the candidate will report to the Head of Business Development. The position comes with a pre-existing client base that is ready to be cultivated and expanded. While the role is remote, candidates will benefit from structured internal support across scientific, operational, and commercial functions.Job Description:Proactively seek out and develop new business leads within the assigned territoryManage all phases of the sales process, from prospecting through to contract finalizationBuild long-term partnerships with clients by conducting regular visits and follow-upsMeet or exceed annual sales objectives and contribute to strategic regional growthGain a strong understanding of the company's portfolio of services and discovery platformsArrange and lead meetings between key client stakeholders and internal subject matter expertsCraft proposals tailored to client needs while emphasizing the company's strengths and differentiationEnsure a consistent pipeline by performing outreach activities, including cold outreach when relevantRepresent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and networking venuesRequirements:A degree in a scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacology)4+ years of experience in business development or sales within life sciences or related industriesProven record of consistently closing deals and driving revenueFluent in English (spoken and written)Strong commercial acumen and passion for client engagementProactive mindset with the ability to work independently and remotelyExcellent prioritization, organization, and time management skillsStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities
